URAC’s mission is to promote continuous improvement in the quality and efficiency of health care delivery by achieving a common understanding of excellence among purchasers, providers, and patients through the establishment of standards, programs of education and communication, and a process of accreditation.
State Recognition Chart
Currently, 37 states and the District of Columbia recognize one or more of URAC’s accreditation programs, making URAC the most recognized health care accreditation organization at the state level. URAC is committed to preserving these relationships, and exploring similar opportunities in other states.
