Health Network Accreditation Program Overview
Quality health care doesn’t just happen. It requires corporate-wide commitment to achieving that goal and implementing systems that make it possible every day. URAC’s Health Network Accreditation supplies you with the framework.
Developed and continuously revised through a consensus-driven process involving hundreds of volunteer industry experts, URAC standards set the bar on health and managed care accreditation. Recently updated, URAC’s Health Network Accreditation standards include key quality benchmarks for network management, provider credentialing, utilization management, quality management and improvement and consumer protection.
Our approach to accreditation is modular, flexible, highly collaborative and cost-effective…
URAC accreditation provides you with external oversight, national benchmarks, public accountability and a comprehensive assessment of all aspects of your organization’s services. You’ll also receive many regulatory compliance benefits. Currently, 38 states, the District of Columbia and the federal government have designated URAC accreditation as a leading industry standard and in many instances “deem” URAC to meet state regulatory requirements. Additionally, URAC accreditation is a marketing differentiator that tells your constituents you care about quality.
URAC’s Health Network Accreditation is the premier accreditation program for PPOs and similar networks.
