URAC is the sole owner of the information obtained through this website. We only have access to PII that is voluntarily submitted to URAC through the completion of forms on our website.
PII is defined as any data that could potentially identify a specific individual, be used to distinguish one person from another, and de-anonymize anonymous data. PII you submit to URAC may include your name, email address, and business affiliation.

We take precautions to protect user information. If and when users submit sensitive information through the URAC website, your information is protected both online and offline.
We use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption software to protect sensitive information online. We also do everything in our power to protect PII offline. All of our users’ information is restricted in our offices. Only employees who need such information to perform a specific job are granted access to PII. Servers we store PII on are kept in a secure environment inside a locked server room.
We use Internet Protocol (IP) addresses to analyze trends, track user movements, administer the URAC site, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses are not linked to PII.
We use “cookies” on the URAC website. A cookie is a piece of data stored on a website visitor’s hard drive that helps improve access to our website and identify repeat visitors. Cookies can also enable us to track and target the interests of users to enhance the experience on our website. Usage of a cookie is in no way linked to any PII on our website.

This information is used to contact users about programs and services on our website in which they have expressed interest.
