Specialty Pharmacy and Mail Service Pharmacy Accreditation v4.0: What You Need to Know

This 4-part webinar series provides an overview of the version 4.0 Program standards for Specialty Pharmacy and Mail Service Pharmacy Accreditation. Each webinar is dedicated to one of the four Program focus areas. Standards and elements identified as “challenging” by reviewers and applicants will be reviewed in more detail. Discussion will include the documentation requirements to demonstrate compliance on the Desktop. Examples of elements frequently missed on Desktop submission will also be provided.

  • Chapter 1 Title: Focus Area: PHARMACY OPERATIONS
    Part one of this webinar series includes the Pharmacy Operations Focus Area. The elements of performance for the 9 standards in this focus area will be reviewed, with examples to demonstrate compliance on the Desktop provided.
  • Chapter 2 Title: Focus Area: PHARMACY PRODUCT HANDLING AND SECURITY
    Part two of this webinar series includes the Pharmacy Product Handling and Security Focus Area. The elements of performance for the 7 standards in this focus area will be reviewed, with examples to demonstrate compliance on the Desktop provided.
  • Chapter 3 Title: Focus Area: PATIENT SERVICE AND COMMUNICATION
    Part three of this webinar series includes the Patient Service and Communication Focus Area. The elements of performance for the 3 standards in this focus area will be reviewed, with examples to demonstrate compliance on the Desktop provided.
  • Chapter 4 Title: Focus Area: PATIENT MANAGEMENT
    Part four of this webinar series includes the Patient Management Focus Area. The elements of performance for the 6 standards in this focus area will be reviewed, with examples to demonstrate compliance on the Desktop provided. Note: This Focus Area does not pertain to Mail Service Pharmacy)
