eQHealth Solutions Achieves Full URAC Disease Management Accreditation

eQHealth Solutions, a non-profit health management company dedicated to collaborative relationships that enable change in healthcare, has received full Disease Management Accreditation from URAC, a Washington, DC-based accrediting organization that works to establish quality standards for the healthcare industry. URAC granted full accreditations to eQHealth Solutions’ diabetes, heart failure, asthma, COPD, oncology and chronic kidney disease programs. eQHealth Solutions holds Utilization Management accreditation in Florida and Mississippi.

“Our disease management service model focuses on the whole patient, lowers hospital readmissions, and creates sustainable behavior change therefore reducing overall healthcare costs. Through eQCare, we contribute to the savings of millions of dollars through appropriate coordination of services and long-term behavior change,” said Edie Castello, president and CEO of eQHealth Solutions. “We were excited to measure ourselves against national standards and undergo URAC’s rigorous evaluation, because we believe in what we’re doing.
