Tuesday, September 12th, 2017

Washington, DC – September 8, 2017 – URAC President and CEO Kylanne Green is a featured speaker at the World Congress 5th Annual Clinically and Financially Integrated Delivery Systems Summit. The session, “Discuss Recent Shifts in Health Care Policy and How to Modify and Adapt Growth and Acquisition Strategies in a Changing Landscape,” is scheduled to take place September 13, 2017, at 1:15 p.m. CST in Chicago, IL, at the Hyatt Regency McCormick Place.

With the growth of integrated delivery systems, federal policy makers are keeping a closer eye on the agreements and contracts being made between systems and providers. With recent crackdowns by the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) on healthcare partnerships and acquisitions as well as the uncertainty surrounding federal healthcare legislation, it is important to keep abreast of current policies and trends in order to remain compliant. Through understanding of current policy as it relates to competition and anti-trust actions, integration and growth strategies will be able to function more smoothly.

Peter Pavarini, Partner, Squire Patton Boggs (US) LLP, will moderate the session. In addition to Green, the other panelist is Richard A. Feinstein, Partner, Boies Schiller Flexner LLP; Former Director, Bureau of Competition, Federal Trade Commission.
