URAC, the nation’s leading independent accreditation authority in the health care industry, just tapped industry veteran Jeff Carr as its new Vice President of Sales and Marketing.
Carr joins URAC after more than 25 years at the Inova Health System where he held a wide variety of roles including Corporate and Consumer Services Growth Officer since December 2011.
“We’re excited to welcome a widely recognized talent like Jeff to URAC as we work to deliver the benefits of accreditation to new audiences and industries,” says Shawn Griffin, president and CEO at URAC. “Jeff has demonstrated a deep knowledge in health care by working closely with many of the leaders and industries in the field. We share a common passion for helping companies use accreditation as a foundation to bolster quality and performance at all levels of their enterprise.”
“I’m looking forward to joining a strong team that’s committed to serving its customers as partners in our joint effort to improve health care outcomes,” said Carr. “I’ve seen firsthand the power of accreditation and I’m enthusiastic about helping others learn how it can make them better organizations.”
