A new survey reported by Axios shows that workers with mental health needs are twice as likely as others to face barriers to care, even when they have insurance. One in three respondents said providers refused to accept their insurance, underscoring that coverage alone does not guarantee access to treatment. These findings point to the continued importance of mental health parity in ensuring care is available when and where people need it.
