A new Kaiser Family Foundation poll shows that most adults use health apps and websites to manage appointments, medications and medical records, but trust remains a major concern.
While 78% of adults report using digital tools and most say they make managing care easier, large majorities still worry about privacy and how their data are used. The survey also finds that many consumers are cautious about artificial intelligence features, including chatbots or tools that analyze medical records.
These findings highlight the importance of strong governance, transparency and consumer protections in digital health. URAC’s Health Care AI Accreditation helps organizations demonstrate responsible AI practices that build trust, improve safety and support better experiences for patients and providers.
