URAC Mail Service Pharmacy Accreditation - Are you ready?

Mail order accreditation standards highlight a commitment to quality improvement, accountability, consumer protection and patient care.

Once you begin the process, your organization can be fully accredited in six months or less.

Mail Service Pharmacy Accreditation Benefits:

  • Aligns with URAC's Specialty Pharmacy Accreditation and focuses on distribution components
  • Promotes safe dispensing practices
  • Supports medication distribution processes for appropriate temperature ranges
  • Reflects foundational standards on risk management, consumer empowerment, and performance management

Accreditation Process: What to Expect

At IRAC, our accreditation process is more than collecting metrics and checking boxes. URAC offers your organization a collaborative, comprehensive learning experience designed to enhance knowledge and promote quality practices.

The program helps highlight the work your organization already does or can help guide your practice as you build the infrastructure to support mail service patients.
