URAC brought a practical, data-driven conversation to the AHIP Medicare, Medicaid, Duals and Commercial Markets Forum (MMDC) on March 25, 2026, highlighting how health plans can turn insight into measurable improvements in health outcomes.
Our session included an engaging conversation featuring URAC President and CEO Shawn Griffin, MD, alongside leaders from Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas, the first organization to achieve URAC Health Outcomes Accreditation (formerly Health Equity Accreditation). They shared a real-world framework for addressing maternal health disparities and scaling that work across populations.
The discussion focused on how organizations can move from data collection to action by aligning stakeholders, building community partnerships and establishing repeatable systems that support long-term impact. Speakers also explored how accreditation strengthens these efforts by reinforcing accountability and creating a foundation for continuous improvement across programs and populations.
