URAC’s President and CEO Shawn Griffin, MD, has joined the American Telemedicine Association’s (ATA) new Clinician Council. ATA convened the council to bring together health care leaders to address barriers to the broad adoption of telehealth and virtual care.
Dr. Griffin joins leaders from organizations including the Mayo Clinic, Johns Hopkins Medicine, Boston Children’s Hospital, Optum and Aetna in this work.
“I’m honored to join this council in creating The Trust Agenda that focuses on responsibility, credibility and integrity in digital health care,” says Dr. Griffin. “This work aligns well with URAC’s accreditation program and our commitment to growing access to telehealth care while ensuring that the care is of the highest quality.”
