A new report from One Medical highlights a troubling gap in workplace mental health care: employees don’t know if they have access to mental health benefits.
According to the study, while 91% of HR professionals say their company offers mental health resources, only 73% of employees agree—and even fewer actually use them.
This disconnect points to a critical issue in workplace mental health: accessibility isn’t just about having benefits, it’s about ensuring employees understand and feel comfortable using them. The lack of awareness and engagement with mental health programs can lead to increased stress, burnout and reduced productivity.
