URAC highlights the importance of primary care in advancing quality health care
This week is National Primary Care Week, a time to honor the clinicians who serve on the front lines of our health care system. URAC is proud to be led by President and CEO Shawn Griffin, MD, a family physician who has dedicated much of his career to delivering primary care to diverse communities. His experience reflects the essential role primary care plays in improving outcomes and creating healthier populations.
At URAC, we recognize that primary care providers are often the first point of contact for people seeking care, and they build lasting relationships that support prevention, treatment and trust. We salute all primary care professionals for their commitment to patients and communities, and we remain dedicated to accrediting programs that strengthen access and quality across the health care system.
