Our first corporate value is “we value people,” and URAC’s programs reflect that commitment
World Mental Health Day is observed globally on October 10 to raise awareness and mobilize support for those experiencing mental health challenges. URAC advances mental health through accreditation that turns policy into practice. Our Mental Health at Work Accreditation helps employers strengthen governance, communication and benefits to build supportive cultures and measure results. Our Mental Health and Substance Use Disorder Parity Accreditation evaluates whether health plans provide comparable coverage and access to needed treatment.
Mental health is health, and reducing stigma and removing barriers to care improves outcomes for people and organizations. On World Mental Health Day, we highlight the partners and clients doing this work and continue our mission to advance quality across the health care ecosystem, with mental health embedded throughout.
