For the second year in a row, URAC has been named a Best in Business Award recipient by Modern Healthcare, recognizing our leadership and impact in advancing quality, trust and accountability across the health care ecosystem. The award highlights organizations that demonstrate measurable results, innovation and influence across the health care landscape. We are joined by leading organizations such as Optum, Teladoc and Amazon Pharmacy.
Modern Healthcare specifically emphasized our 2025 efforts to strengthen access and accountability in health care, highlighting early adopters of our Mental Health Parity Accreditation, serving more than 3.2 million covered lives, and the launch of the nation’s first accreditation for artificial intelligence in health care.
