What inspired you to enter the health care industry?
It may sound cliché, but I wanted to help people. Working in the health care industry gives me the opportunity to positively impact the lives of others. Additionally, as someone with a legal and public policy background, I found the health care industry to be one of the most dynamic and interesting fields to work in.
Why did you come to URAC?
I knew of URAC’s great reputation from my work in other roles across the health care industry. I also saw the importance of accreditation programs on the quality of health care services. When the opportunity arose to join URAC, I wanted to be a part of its vision to make exceptional health care for all a reality.
What do you find most rewarding about your job?
There is always something new to learn. The laws and regulations impacting the health care industry are consistently changing. I enjoy the challenge and appreciate the opportunity to play a part in shaping debates on these issues.
What motivates you to do your best at work every day?
I get to work with a great team and know that our work is making a real difference in people’s lives.
