For Telehealth Awareness Week, Shawn Griffin, MD, CEO and President of URAC, discusses the role telehealth can play in improving access to quality health care for patients. In the video, Dr. Griffin highlights how telehealth can open access to health care for rural areas, as well as care for behavioral health issues in underserved communities. He also comments on how accreditation can help improve telehealth outcomes, safety and security by focusing on the standards that matter most.
